Front Desk Agent at Boutique Hotel and Swim Club in Mid-City

The Maidstone Hotel is a new 18-room boutique hotel and year-round swim club in the heart of Mid-City, New Orleans. Were where East End elegance meets New Orleans souland were looking for Front Desk Agents who know how to read a room, recommend a dive bar, and deliver five-star service and have a love for this industry.

This is a guest-facing role in every sense. Youll be the first smile they see, the last goodbye they remember, and the person they call at 3am when they cant find the remote. We want someone who loves people, isnt afraid to chat, and understands that being laid-back and being buttoned-up are not mutually exclusive.

What Were Really Looking For:

A human being with a pulse and personality

Someone who enjoys being on and isnt afraid of small talk (or big personalities)

Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail

Ability to stay cool under pressure (and under questionable guest requests)

Bonus points if you know how to recommend a great cocktail, coffee, or hangover cure

What Youll Actually Do:

Greet and check guests in/out with ease and charm

Answer phones, emails, and questions with grace (and patience)

Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance so everything runs smooth

Act as concierge, therapist, event calendar, and occasionally bouncer

Keep things tidy, keep things moving, and keep your sense of humor intact
