About This Role

A 2 nd shift Assoc Maintenance Mechanic, under general supervision, performs any and all tasks assigned by management based on the needs of the business.

Responsibilities\:

•Operating Forklift to move equipment and other material as required

•Operating forklift to move consumable materials and waste from/to production as required.

•Perform daily fueling operations for yard equipment

•Gas bottle handing and distribution as directed

•Breaking down crates and other packing material for production as required

•Distribution of printer paper and bottled water to administrative office areas

•Bagging and distributing ice bags throughout the facility.

•Other duties as required to include L ight carpentry, laminating, painting, light plumbing, changing of light bulbs, changing oil filters on equipment, etc.

•Entry Level mechanical duties

• Maintains work order records, forms and logs as required.

• Performs other job-related duties as assigned by management.

Education\:

A High School Diploma or GED certificate is required.

Position Requirements\:

• 0 – 6 months of related experience within a maintenance department is preferred.

• Ability to perform from written and verbal instructions.

• Basic computer knowledge to include outlook (email), excel and web applications.

• Basic experience with hand tools, such as wrenches, sockets, hammer, etc. is preferred.

• A basic knowledge of small tool repairs is preferred.

• Willingness and flexibility to work extended hours as needed to accomplish the task or work with little or no prior notification.
