About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Chili's Grill and Bar.

This position is intermittent, 0-40 hours per week.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:
  1. Must have experience mixing alcoholic beverages for retail sale, which includes knowledge of a wide variety of beverages and ability to combine ingredients such as liquors, soda water, sugar, bitters, and fruit and the ability to mix exotic drinks.
  2. Must be able to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and to resolve the problem or seek assistance if needed.
  3. Must be able to follow cash handling procedures.
  4. Must meet the appropriate minimum age requirement for working with and/or serving alcoholic beverages.


Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify.
