Cook-Silver City

Responsible for preparing ingredients, processing customer food orders and cooking foods to safe temperatures. Duties include measuring, mixing, follow recipes consistently, make adjustment based on requests, cook and plate food, washing dishes and throw trash. Will also be cleaning kitchen area and wiping down surfaces to sanitize. Must obtain food handlers certification. May need to serve food occasionally. Must follow health and safety guidelines. Must be available to work weekends. Pay $15.50/hr M-S hours will vary need to be flexible. HS Diploma Equivalent preferred but not required.

- Measuring, mixing, follow recipes consistently, make adjustment based on requests, cook and plate food, washing dishes and throw trash. Employees will be utilizing knives, ovens, slicers, range, deep fryer, walk in freezer, step stool for reaching items on high shelves, walk in fridge and ice machine.

- Cleaning kitchen area and wiping down surfaces to sanitize throughout shift including cleaning out deep fryer, wiping off range, cleaning oven/hood.

- Must obtain food handlers certification.

- May need to serve food occasionally.

- Must follow health and safety guidelines.

- Must have a valid NM Food Servers Certification Card.

- Must be able to work weekdays and weekends. Hours will fluctuate.

- Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
