Job Summary

As a Front of House Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the General Manager in the overall success of the operation. This includes overseeing food service and cafe operations, managing multiple units, and ensuring adherence to the clients culture, Health Department regulations, and company standards. You will also be responsible for budget oversight, catering coordination, and delivering exceptional customer service. This position motivates, trains, develops, and directs all employees to accomplish operational goals to the satisfaction of both customers and the client.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages the day-to-day front-of-house service, including cafe and catering operations.
  • Oversees multiple service units, ensuring consistency and quality across locations.
  • Plans and supervises special functions and catering events.
  • Maintains budget controls, cash handling procedures, and payroll records.
  • Oversees hiring, training, and scheduling of frontline team members.
  • Ensures compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Completes all required daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of operational management experience in food service, cafe management, or multi-unit environments.
  • Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
  • Strong background in catering coordination and event planning.
  • Budget management and financial reporting experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet applications.
  • Retail marketing experience is a plus.
  • Associates degree preferred.
