POSITION SUMMARY
Cashier / CSR are responsible for maintaining Guest Services as per company standard, generating sales, housekeeping, merchandising, signage, pricing, cash register operations (POS), and loss prevention in adherence to all Company Policy/Store Standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Ensuring that each Guest receives outstanding Guest Service by providing a Guest friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every Guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge, and all other components of Guest Service
Performs ongoing cleaning throughout each shift to ensure all areas of the facility are consistently customer ready
Takes appropriate measures to preserve the safety of employees and all others in the work location
Maintains an awareness of all product knowledge information, merchandise promotions, test merchandise, and advertisements
Assists in processing and replenishing merchandise; participating in receiving and monitoring floor stock; floor moves; merchandising and display maintenance
Adhering to all Company policies, procedures, and practices including signage, pricing, and loss prevention
Accurately and efficiently completing all sales transactions and maintaining proper cash and media accountabilities at POS registers
Performing other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
Required
Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
Ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment
Arithmetic skills at an eighth-grade level
Appropriate handling of emergency situations
Preferred
Previous cash handling and customer service experience
Previous retail experience
Positive, out-going personality with strong interest in customer service
Standards
Reliable and punctual. Available for work on all shifts, as assigned.
Well organized approach to work and maintenance of work areas.
Courteous, business-like contact with co-workers, customers, vendors and community.
Professional appearance and good personal hygiene to comply with company policy.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
