Responsibilities**

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu plans.

- Collaborate with the dietary department to ensure meals meet nutritional standards and dietary restrictions.

- Assist in menu planning, offering creative ideas for seasonal dishes and specials.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.

- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools.

- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality standards.

- Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices.

**Requirements**

- Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant, catering service, or similar food industry role.

- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

- Background Checks

- Able to fill out forms in accordance to USDA Food Program

- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
