Essential Job Functions:
- Washes, chops, and cuts raw foods.
- Prepares food according to basic recipes using simple techniques.
- Uses a wide range of kitchen tools and utensils.
- Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipe.
- Assist in keeping freezers, walk-ins, and other storage areas in proper cleanliness and order; maintain proper rotation.
- Assist in ensuring that all foods are covered, labeled, initialed, and stored properly. Practices safe food handling techniques.

Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must possess a sound knowledge of the various Chinese regional cuisines with a basic knowledge of other Asian cuisines, especially Thai, Vietnamese and sushi fabrication.
- Ability to speak an Asian language is preferred.
- Must have experience as at least 2 years’ experience in related field.
- Possesses complete knowledge of all procedures related to the job.
- Ensures that all guests and team members are treated in a prompt, professional and courteous manner.
- Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and team members.
- Possesses the ability to work under pressure.
- Must possess a cooperative, helpful and friendly nature, and present a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance.
- Must purchase and maintain tools necessary for work.
- Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays.
Physical and Mental Demands:
- Regularly required to see, talk or hear; stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
- Frequently required to walk; stoop, kneel or crouch.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under frequently fast paced work conditions.
