ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Must be willing to work early hours for breakfast events as needed and work evenings for dinner events sporadically.
Assist the Executive Chef in preparing daily meals, including breakfast, lunch, and special event catering.
Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Oversee inventory of food items and discard expired items as needed.
Run any necessary errands, deliveries and other tasks that may arise within the marketing department.
Support menu planning and contribute ideas for seasonal and health-conscious dishes.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and receiving supplies.
Collaborate with kitchen and hospitality staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
Assist in setting up and breaking down food service stations for meetings, conferences, and executive events.
Adhere to dietary requirements and food allergy protocols as needed
Assist Events Coordinator with marketing and clerical duties as needed.
Assist with purchasing and inventory of groceries, liquor, and other marketing and kitchen supplies.
SKILLS
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Professional demeanor and ability to interact respectfully with staff and executives.
Must have a valid driver's license and no moving violations on record.
Frequently lift or carry items from 1lb - 40lbs
Occasionally push or pull items 1 lb 60 lbs or more
Ability to bend, stoop, walk, stand, sit, reach above shoulder level, drive automatic equipment vehicle, and drive company vehicle.
EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE
Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen; corporate or hospitality experience where food was prepared for 200 guests or more is a plus.
Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices.
