Nowon offers a dynamic and memorable dining experience that blends the bold flavors of Korean cuisine with the diverse culinary influences of New York City. Chef Jae is celebrated for his creative, crowd-pleasing dishes, such as the renowned Legendary Cheeseburger and Chopped Cheese Rice Cakes, which have earned widespread media attention. With a lively ambiance set to nostalgic 90s and early 2000s hip-hop music, Nowon delivers an unforgettable vibe to complement its exceptional food.

We are looking for a team member who is passionate and dedicated to hospitality & service. The following are responsibilities, but not limited to:

• Welcome guests to the restaurant
• Provide wait times and monitor waiting lists
• Manage reservations
• Escort guests to assigned dining or bar areas (hopefully soon!)
• Provide menus
• Greet guests upon their departure
• Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options, protocol, guests notes, allergy notes, etc
• Maintain a clean reception area
• Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)
• Answer incoming calls and address guests queries
• Assist wait staff as needed

Compensation: Hourly ($14.00) plus tips
