Lead Rounds Cook - Per Diem

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Per Diem Lead Rounds Cook . As a Lead Rounds Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving high-quality meals for our residents across multiple dining venues, including our Health Center and special events. Your passion for cooking and attention to detail will contribute to the overall satisfaction and well-being of those we serve. This is a per diem position with flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays.

RiverMead is a not-for-profit, full-service, LifeCare Community located in Peterborough, New Hampshire. As a full-service community, we offer a wide variety of services and amenities to the residents we serve.

We have a $1.50 per hour weekend differential that runs from Friday at 5:00PM through Sunday at midnight.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares hot and cold entrees, soups, vegetables, salads, appetizers, and desserts using prep sheets and recipes.

• Performs food preparation following proper food handling techniques.

• Completes required food temperature checks and records.

• Performs advance preparation and stores food properly at the end of meal service.

• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment, following safety and sanitation protocols.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum of two (2) years of professional cooking experience required.

• ServSafe certification or willingness to become certified required.

• Must be self-directed, dependable, and detail-oriented.

• Must be a team player with a can-do attitude!
