FT/PT Host in Upscale Downtown Restaurant

Red Ginger Dimsum and Tapas has been well established since 2016. We've proudly served our community for almost a decade, and have been voted for "The Best Chinese Restaurant in Asheville" 8 years in a row. We are now seeking full time host/hostess with following requirements:

Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Coordinate seating and ensure smooth guest flow
- Take food and drink orders accurately
- Enter orders into the POS system and process payments
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area

Qualifications:
- 16 or older with previous experience in a customer service role preferred
- Reliable transportation to and from work;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to multitask;
- Basic math skills with ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be drug free, hygienic and punctual
