Cafe Attendant (Part-Time)

Job Overview:

The Cafe Attendant plays a key role in operating the Trout Creek CDD Cafe. The attendant will take care of residents in all aspects of the cafe with a smile. This is a position for an individual who routinely exercises good judgment and exceptional problem-solving skills. As the face of the cafe experience, maintaining positivity and diplomacy in a fast-paced environment is critical while maintaining standards.

Your Responsibilities:

• Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks along with prepackaged sandwiches, wraps, pizza and snacks.
• Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils, and equipment
• Cleaning service and seating areas
• Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers
• Servicing customers and taking orders
• Receiving and distributing stock supplies
• Receiving and processing customer payments
• Stocking during shift as needed
• Helps guests with all aspects of the cafe
• Perform various other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

• GED or High School Diploma

• Minimum of one (1) year in a similar role preferred.

• Team player.

• Ability to multi-task

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally.

• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members.

• Ability to operate available equipment such as cash registers, iPad, calculators, etc.

• Basic mathematical skills.

• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts, including Holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 30 - 50 lbs.
• Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

What We Offer:

As a part-time non-exempt associate, you will be eligible for full supplemental benefits to include dental and vision. Occasional travel may be required to attend training and other company functions.

Compensation: $19.00 - $19.50 hourly
