Responsibilities Ensure the cleanliness and sanitization of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently and maintain its proper functioning Support the kitchen team by organizing and restocking clean dishes, glassware, and silverware Maintain a clean and organized work area, collaborating with fellow team members Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines for proper handling and disposal of waste Assist in maintaining smooth kitchen operations by working closely with the culinary staff Qualifications Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, and kitchen equipment using industrial dishwashers. Organize and store clean dishes, ensuring they are readily available for the culinary team. Assist with kitchen cleanliness, including sweeping and mopping floors and removing trash. Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain a clean and organized work environment. Adhere to health and safety standards to maintain a hygienic and safe kitchen area. Stand for long hours, often in wet conditions. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs (racks of dishes, garbage bags). Work in a hot, humid, and fast-paced environment. Bend, stoop, and reach frequently.
