PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, the bartender oversees the running of the bar, provides a pleasant customer experience, making and serving drinks and serving food

THE IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

EDUCATION: High school diploma or its equivalent.

EXPERIENCE: Experience in food & beverage services.

CREDENTIALS: Washington State food handlers permit. MAST 12 beverage service permit.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of bartending experience in fine dining or high-end cocktail bars.

  • Proven ability to craft and mix classic and contemporary cocktails with precision

  • Knowledge of food, beer, wine, and spirits

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Experience using POS systems (such as Micros) for order management and payment processing

  • Valid food handling certification or willingness to obtain one upon hiring

  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized bar area, including proper storage of liquor, garnishes, and glassware

  • Team player and ability to collaborate with other staff

  • Energetic, positive attitude and ability to anticipate guest needs

  • Ability to handle busy situations calmly and professionally.
