SusieCakes has 31 bakery locations across CA TX and TN Our bakeries are filled with the delicious tastes and sweet smells of cakes cupcakes cookies pies and bars all baked from scratch on site daily using the freshest and finest ingredients Please apply to the link and complete your application process today The salary range for this role is 1700 1900 a hour Tips average 2 3 per hour Full time 32 40 hours a week weekend availability is a must Note This role would be 30 driving & 70 dishwashingfood prep At SusieCakes we make old fashioned sentimental dessert favorites just like you may remember from your childhood Our bakeries are filled with the delicious tastes and sweet smells of cakes cupcakes cookies pies and bars all baked from scratch on site daily using the freshest and finest ingredients Our signature Celebration Cake is a birthday staple on tens of thousands of tables Our bakeries mix the nostalgia of the past with the warmth and feel of a modern neighborhood bakery Connecting through Celebration is our purpose and what we strive for every day with our team members our guests and our community Our bakeries are lively and bustling with genuinely friendly people who have the hospitality gene They understand the importance of what they do every day and are empowered to make days better Their connections to our guests and to each other are what separates SusieCakes from other bakeries The delivery driver is responsible for the transport of our baked goods and other foodsupply items They will be driving between multiple SusieCakes bakeries our commissary kitchen and any guest locations RESPONSIBILITIES Operations Management Manage the delivery calendar activities daily daily bakery requisitions checklist and adhering to the culinary schedule Ensure all food is handled and stored according to all required food safety code standardsAssist with kitchen food prep & production of baked goods as neededEnsure delivery cruiser maintenance & service matters are managed Manage expenses for delivery cruiser ie gasoline tolls repairs Ensure the delivery cruiser is driven in a professional manner consistent with local vehicle lawsQUALIFICATIONS Valid drivers license requiredExcellent driving record requiredKnowledgeable of GPS navigation systemsOutstanding customer service focus and skillsHigh degree of professionalismMust be able to safely utilize all bakery equipmentPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Frequent walking kneeling bending and reaching overheadAble to sit for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift move and carry up to 50 poundsEDUCATION High school diploma or GEDLANGUAGE SKILLS Must be able to speak read and write EnglishOTHER Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
