Housekeeping Position: Full Time, Monday-Friday
Job Responsibilities:
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, including mirrors, sinks, toilets, and mopping floors etc.
- Routine cleaning tasks include dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming of hallways, kitchens, and other common areas.
- Maintain and sanitize kitchen areas, coffee pots, refrigerators, microwaves, etc.
- Daily emptying of wastebaskets.
- Daily sanitizing of all common area surfaces with an electrostatic sprayer.
- Restock common area and restroom supplies. Report low inventory to manager as needed.
- Remove and wash any items used in meetings (coffee pots, cups, utensils, etc.).
- Clean windows and front doors in lobby.
- Clear cobwebs around loading dock and in office areas.
- Water plants as needed.
- May be required to undergo specialized training.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
- Minimum 3+ years' experience. Commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and ability to handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
- Proactivity and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management skills with ability to multitask and maintain schedule while responding to incidents.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
- Office/Lab/Warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs. may be required.
- Ability to bend, reach, grasp, sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to perform repetitive motion using common tools/equipment of the trade.
