Join our team as a Facility Support - Custodian , where your work directly contributes to creating a safe, clean, and welcoming home for the seniors we serve. In this essential role, you'll go beyond routine cleaning and maintenance—you'll help ensure our participants feel comfortable, respected, and cared for in every interaction.

At the heart of a warm and vibrant PACE location, you'll take pride in maintaining a beautiful environment where older adults can thrive. This role ensures the overall cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of the facility, creating a welcoming environment for everyone involved.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of rooms, offices, and furnishings
  • Sanitize and polish bathroom fixtures, mirrors, and windows
  • Maintain clean floors using sweeping, mopping, waxing, and disinfecting methods
  • Vacuum, shampoo, and disinfect carpets and upholstered furniture
  • Perform day-to-day housekeeping duties
  • Set up and take down tables, chairs, and equipment for indoor and outdoor functions
  • Dispose of waste and trash
  • Ensure facility grounds and buildings are maintained

What You’ll Need:

  • Previous experience in custodial work in a hospital, nursing home, school, or similar environment is preferred.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and safety protocols required.
  • Ability to operate various cleaning equipment, preferred.
  • Ability to lift, move, and carry equipment or supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, required.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
