Evening Cook
Location: Guardian Angels Care Center - Elk River, MN
Salary Range: $19.39 - $22.28/Hour (Based on Experience)

Position Summary:
The Evening Cook is responsible for preparing meals according to menus or using approved substitutions, meeting meal schedules, preparing special nourishments and serving proper quality and quantity of food. Prepares all meals in a safe, respectful, resident-centered manner under the supervision of the Director of Dietary Services. Keeps an inventory of incoming supplies. Services are provided in accordance with the mission of Guardian Angels Care Center.
Schedule:
Part Time, benefit eligible. Working 64 hours per pay period (2 Weeks).
Every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) and holiday are required.
11am - 7:30pm Schedule
Responsibilities:
Provide quality food service to residents, staff & visitors.
Stores, prepares and serves nutritious, tasty meals.
Follows direction, reads and interprets dietary cards, recipes and other instructions also prepare food for therapeutic diets according to planned menus.
Assist in serving meals and serves foods according to portion control.
Checks special diet trays to make sure they are correct.
Provides staff supervision in the absence of the Director under the supervision of the Director.
Assist in purchasing foods and supplies.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Prior experience is preferred.
