IBH-Bell Attendant

Inn at Bay Harbor is a Marriott Autograph Collection Hotel nestled on the shoreline of Lake Michigan. It is a place and experience that is Exactly Like Nothing Else .

This is a Bell/Valet attendant position at Inn at Bay Harbor. The bell/vallet attendant will e fficiently and professionally meet guests transportation needs, transfer luggage, deliver messages, parcels, packages and assist in all other guest services operations.

• Transport guests around the local area using resort vehicles.
• Provide quality service to the guest by responding to their requests promptly, efficiently, and courteously during check-in, checkout, and throughout stay.
• Remain aware of all pertinent information, including but not limited to: location and features of guest rooms, onsite activities and events, events within the immediate area, etc.
• Deliver messages, faxes, parcels and packages or amenities to guest room; as well as answer shuttle phone and delivering messages.
• Valet vehicles as needed.
• Handle the transfer of luggage to the Inn and Lakeside Cottages properly and in a timely manner.
• Maintain clean and organized bell carts, closets, shuttles and circle drive entrance.
• Uphold a clean, neat, well-organized work area and be aware of and follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Assist the front desk and other guest service areas as needed.
• Tracking, transporting and storing guest personal and rental equipment.
• Assist in handling concerns/problems in a professional manner by following resort guidelines.
• Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external) at all times.

Must be 18 years old

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must hold valid Driver's/Chauffer’s license
