**Position Summary**
Our Hartwell, Georgia, factory measures an impressive 500,000 square feet. It represents our most versatile facility to date, enabling us to switch product lines with greater speed and efficiency. Together, we take immense pride in producing and distributing the brands that our customers trust and that bring joy to pets' lives. As a Building and Grounds Maintenance Technician, you will perform light building repairs and upkeep in the production and administrative areas of our food manufacturing facility. This will include preparation and painting of various surfaces, minor mechanical repairs and installations, and assistance to other areas of the maintenance department as needed. You will also perform sanitation duties, snow removal, and deep cleaning as needed.
+ Repair drywall, concrete, brick, and block surfaces.
+ Install carpet, floor and ceiling tiles, bulletin boards, and other items.
+ Perform facility maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, waste disposal, snow removal, and more.
+ Paint interior and exterior surfaces including walls, pipes, line painting, striping, and stenciling.
+ Safely operate heavy equipment and cleaning equipment including forklifts, scissor lifts, floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, and other job-related equipment.
+ Assist the Maintenance Department with tasks such as sanitation, fire watch, confined space entry, etc.
+ Prepare, transport, and stage chemicals for sanitation.
**Requirements**
+ High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
+ 1+ years facilities maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, production, military, or related environment.
The approximate hourly pay range for this position is $26.23 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
