The Environmental Services Assistant is a key position in our organization. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintains clean and sanitary conditions utilizing universal precautions and following well established guidelines.
• Cleans floors, carpets and performs emergency housekeeping as needed.
• Cleans bathrooms, walls, windows, stairways, doors, ceilings.
• Mops, vacuums, dusts and other cleaning duties as directed.
• Removes waste and disposes properly.
• May perform laundry duties including transporting linens.

• Housekeeping experience in nursing home, hospital or retirement community preferred.
• Detail oriented.
• Some heavy lifting required.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
