Bartender

**Job Summary:**
Under the direct supervision of the F&B Manager/Supervisor, the Bartender position at Unicoi State Park & Lodge involves mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to patrons of the bar.

**Qualifications:**
Successful candidates should be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for the role.

**Responsibilities:**
- Take orders and serve food according to service standards.
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
- Serve wine, draught, or bottled beer.
- Collect payment for drinks served.
- Requisition liquors and supplies.
- Arrange bottles and glasses for an attractive display.
- Prepare garnishes such as fruit slices.
- Replenish bar snacks.
- Inform guests of promotional activities.
- Adhere to Accounting practices and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the outlet.
- Coordinate with the kitchen for food preparation and serving.
- Handle bar closures and ensure proper storage and lockup procedures.
- Monitor customer alcohol consumption responsibly.
- Comply with state laws and regulations.

**Education and/or Experience:**
High school diploma or equivalent. One to three months of related experience and/or training is preferred, but a combination of education and experience will be acceptable.
