You get the picture...Heres to living it up with a beer in hand. 10 Barrel Brewing, Central Oregon's premier craft brewery, has an exciting opportunity for some back of the house rock stars. We are looking for a full-time Line Cook. If you love beer and working in a fun and fast paced professional culinary environment, then 10 Barrel East Side pub is the place for you! JOB SUMMARY: The Line Cook prepares and plates high-quality meals that meet the chefs exact specifications and works at specific stations in the kitchen, such as grill, saute, or frier. They are responsible for assembling ingredients, prepping food, and plating dishes with a limited amount of time. Line cooks monitor their station and stock it with necessary supplies. Other responsibilities include ensuring all food safety and sanitation standards are maintained, managing multiple orders simultaneously and coordinating with other kitchen staff on the timely delivery of each dish. Other duties as assigned. PAY: $19.00-22.00 per hour depending on experience. JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1+ year experience in a similar role
• Certificate in culinary arts or related field preferred
• Knowledge of food safety practices
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Team player with good communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Aptitude for multi-tasking

SHIFTS / NIGHT WORK / AVAILABILITY:

• Ability to work a flexible scheduling including nights and weekends required
• Seeking part-time or full-time line cooks

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8-hour shifts
• Lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs)
• Must be able to bend, stretch and reach for extended periods of time
• Regularly required to talk and hear
• Frequent use of hands and fingers; ability to feel and reach with hands and arms
• Ability to stoop, kneel, and crouch
• Specific vision abilities required in this role include close vision and distance vision
• Logic and thinking process must be quick and unencumbered

WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the core functions of the position, you are usually indoors, in a confined kitchen environment, but may also be rostered to work outdoors in a natural and variable environment. The position can also involve regularly moving between warm (kitchen) and cold (cool room) locations. Moderate machine and crowd noise levels exist in the working environment.
