Dishwasher, Prep, and Expo

Soul Foodies is Hiring for Dishwasher, Prep/Expo to join our team. You must be able to perform all tasks. We offer pick-up and delivery services to our customers. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter, punctual, and reliable. Responsibilities include but are not limited to cleaning the kitchen, washing dishes, answering the phone, prepping, cooking, packaging, and handing off orders to the delivery driver. Must have a strong ability to multi-task and prioritize duties.

We are open 24 hours a day, Seven days a week. Must be able to work a rotating schedule and work weekends.

As a Soul Foodie you will be responsible for cooking food that is not only delicious and cooked to the specifications of the customer but that is safe and fresh as well. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
Sautee, bake, grill and fry meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods
Package, garnish and arrange final dishes
Hand completed orders to delivery driver
Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
Handle and store ingredients and food
Maintain food safety and sanitation standards

Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils
Execute opening and closing procedures
Set up workstations with required ingredients and equipment
Check the quality and freshness of ingredients
Monitor station inventory levels
Operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills and fryers
Clean kitchen equipment such as, ovens, grills, steam tables, and other equipment
Changing Fryer Oil

We are hiring for the following shifts. We are looking for both full time and part time contractors.

6 am - 2pm
2 pm - 10 pm
10 pm - 6 am
6am - 6pm
6pm - 6am

Open availability is preferred. This is a 1099 Contractor position. Pay is Weekly. Must be able to accept direct deposit
