Job Summary

Our busy multi-season rustic lodge and lake resort, featuring rental cabins, a campground, and marina is seeking a hard working Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience preparing American Cuisine, enjoys working in a busy restaurant environment, and is capable of multi-tasking effectively. We are willing to consider advancement opportunities for the right candidate and work ethic.

Must be willing to work in a more remote lake area approximately 30 minutes from Bend, OR.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef in creating amazing culinary experiences including input to our menu
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and Prep Cooks to prepare quality meals during our dining hours.
  • Measure and assemble ingredients for all menu items.
  • Maintain accurate food inventories.
  • Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures.
  • Rotate stock items as per established procedures.
  • Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts.
  • Ensure that all food and cook areas are cleaned and sanitized throughout and at the end of your shift.
  • Bring a positive attitude and willingness to have fun!

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • 2+ years experience as a Line Cook in the restaurant industry.
  • Able to read and follow standardized recipes.
  • Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures.
  • Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere
  • Certification preferred.
