At Four Seasons Residence Club Aviara, the In Villa Dining Server offers guests an enjoyable, expertly served beverage/dining experience conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism, and friendliness.
What you will do:
Answer the telephones using courteous, efficient telephone etiquette while obtaining all information necessary to process the guests order according to Four Seasons Standards.
Anticipate and service of guests' requirements before requests are necessary.
Serve and clear Food & Beverage items in an unobtrusive and professional manner.
Complete opening and closing side work as assigned and have all tables set according to standard.
Utilize the Residence Clubs computer system ringing up sales, printing checks, closing checks, and completing closing readings.
Carry trays, bus, and reset tables with, china, glass, and silver.
Coordinate delivery of items to the guestroom by Room Service Servers in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
Ascertain a guest's satisfaction and handle any problem which may arise informing a manager of the problem and how it was resolved.
Recognize and address potential intoxicated disruptive or undesirable guests.
Stock and order items.
Carry hot boxes and provide oval tray service in a professional & comfortable manner.
Respond properly in any Residence Club emergency or safety situation.
Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by Residence Club management and staff.
What you bring:
Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
Previous Food & Beverage experience preferred.
Average knowledge of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks.
Driving a company vehicle is an essential function of this role, a valid California's Drivers License is required.
Responsible Beverage Service certification and San Diego County Food Handlers card (not required upon hire).
