As the Dining Room Supervisor, you'll play a key leadership role in the success of our restaurant and food service operations. You'll guide a team, shape unforgettable dining experiences, and work alongside passionate professionals who care about service, food, and community.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Oversee all dining operations at Windows on the Water and other park venues
- Ensure exceptional guest service and team performance
- Recruit, train, and lead an enthusiastic service team
- Collaborate with chefs and park leaders on menus and special events
- Monitor budgets, food and beverage costs, and team schedules
- Maintain inventory and ensure dining areas are fully equipped
- Lead team evaluations, performance appraisals, and development
- Handle guest concerns with professionalism and care
- Foster communication across departments
- Support sustainable, eco-conscious service practices
- Maintain a valid KY STAR (Server Training in Alcohol Regulations) certification

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: High school graduate.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Two years of food service experience in any of the following areas: full-service restaurant, state resort park, hospital, commercial dining room.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: NONE
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Food service experience in any of the following areas will substitute for the education on year for year basis: full service restaurant, state resort park, hospital, or commercial dining room.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): NONE
Working Conditions
Works in dining room setting.
Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
