• HVAC certification Current EPA Refrigeration Certificate (EPA Title 6, Section 608) Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Type II Certification for handling Freon 22 (R22). Possess the appropriate California driver's license issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles.

Comments and Other Information

This position requires any combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to (3) years of the building trades and the ability to perform plumbing/electrical tasks related to HVAC (preferred). Forty-eight (48) months of experience as a heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment repair person acquired through an accredited apprenticeship program, skilled training program, or general HVAC experience (preferred). HVAC License and a high school diploma or equivalency certificate required.
