Hotel 1928 Food Expeditor

Collegiate Hotel Group is seeking a Food Runner to join Hotel 1928 and its brilliant team of hospitality enthusiasts.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet and welcome our guests
• Deliver food orders for guests based on restaurant needs
• Assists with bussingand resetting tables throughout service
• Thoroughly understands menu offerings and can speak to each item knowledgeably to customers
• Ensure you are acquainted with the art and decor in the hotel and be able to speak on them.
• Be a spokesperson for the Community and be able to know local spots to recommend.
• Complete side work duties
• Assists wait staff as needed
• Follow uniform and grooming specifications
• Other duties asassigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 1 year of experience in a similar or supportive role is preferred
• Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness Certification (if applicable)
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Able to work flexible hours andshifts
• Ability to communicate effectivelyverbally
• Team player
• Ability to multi-task
