Cafeteria Worker

JOB GOAL: To prepare and serve the students attractive and nutritious meals in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness and friendliness.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and cook foods following standardized recipes.
• Assist in the preparation of food portions and prepares serving area.
• Serve foods throughout each meal period.
• Removes used dishes and assists in cleaning of counters, tables and furnishings in dining area.
• Assumes responsibilities that come with cash register.
• Employ sanitation guidelines in washing dishes and equipment.
• Sweep and mop kitchen daily, clean dining tables and chairs.
• Regular, punctual attendance is expected.
• Shall adhere to the School Board policies and procedures.
• Exhibit sanitary standards of personal hygiene and grooming.
• Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as may be assigned by Principal, Food Service Manager or Assistant Manager.

3.5 hours daily.
