**Job Description**

We are seeking a dedicated dishwasher to join our team, responsible for following cleaning procedures for dishes, pots, pans, and trays. In addition to washing dishes, you will be cross-trained to assist with various kitchen functions, including cleanup, wiping down general areas, organizing prep work, and stocking or rotating food products. This role also involves interacting with the public in a corporate cafeteria setting.

**Responsibilities**

+ Follow cleaning procedures for dishes, pots, pans, and trays.

+ Cross-train and learn various kitchen functions.

+ Assist with kitchen cleanup and wiping down general areas.

+ Organize prep work and stock or rotate food products.

+ Interact with the public in a corporate cafeteria setting.

**Essential Skills**

+ Experience in cleaning and food service.

+ Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.

+ Ability to work with hands and operate dishwashing equipment.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience in restaurant or hospitality settings.

+ Reliability in attendance and punctuality.

**Work Environment**

Work in one of two cafeterias located at the Rio Rancho site. Shifts are from Thursday to Monday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM. The role requires standing for extended periods and may expand to a new cafeteria. Enjoy a collaborative and energetic environment with opportunities to interact with the public.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract position based out of Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.00/hr.
