Housekeeping Lead (Private Estate) - Seattle

A private household is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Lead to oversee daily cleaning operations, support laundry and linen programs, and manage housekeeping staff across multiple local residences. This role will lead both hands-on work and vendor oversight, with a strong emphasis on service excellence, discretion, and team collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Lead daily cleaning operations and provide direction to in-house and third-party housekeeping staff. Maintain cleanliness and organization standards across main residence, professional kitchen, and staff spaces. Coordinate laundry services and ensure timely care of all household items. Establish and manage cleaning schedules, checklists, and protocols. Conduct regular inspections to monitor quality and identify maintenance or inventory needs. Assist with food and beverage inventory coordination and supply tracking. Partner with estate management and other household departments to ensure seamless service. Train, supervise, and mentor housekeeping team members. Prepare for and support occasional events, including evenings and weekends as needed. Maintain flexibility to accommodate evolving preferences and last-minute schedule changes. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in residential or hospitality housekeeping, including 3+ years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of cleaning standards for luxury homes, fine furnishings, and specialty materials. Ability to lead and coach staff, oversee vendors, and manage schedules. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable navigating a fast-paced, high-expectation environment with discretion and professionalism. Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally between properties. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital tools for scheduling and inventory tracking. Preferred Experience: Experience working in private households, luxury estates, or high-end hospitality environments. Familiarity with home management software and project tracking tools. Understanding of floral/plant care and event support logistics. Location : This is an onsite position, Monday - Friday, on call and overtime possibilities exist. Compensation & Benefits: A competitive compensation package will be offered, including health benefits, paid time off, and performance-based bonus eligibility.
