Heavy Equipment/Maintenance Technician

A scrap facility in the Worthington area is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their growing team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be repairing processing equipment, conveyors, and heavy equipment to include excavators and front-end loaders. Responsibilities: Examine equipment to determine any damages or malfunctions, service as needed. Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment to a defined schedule and maintain preventative maintenance instructions. Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, hydraulics, etc. to ensure they are in proper operating condition. Coordinate work activities with outside contractors and vendors as needed. Ensure all equipment/facilities are 100% complaint to standard safety practices. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
