Job Order in Connection with H-2B Application:

Royal O Real Estate Holdings, LLC d/b/a Omni Royal Orleans, headquartered at 621 St Louis St., New Orleans, LA 70130; phone number: ..., is seeking to fill **two (2) Houseperson** positions from October 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026. This is for full-time, peak-load, temporary employment. **Duties include:**

Workers will retrieve soiled linen and garbage from Guest Rooms and Room Attendants carts and/or storage closets to dispose of through the linen chute or dumpsters, keep guest elevators, corridors, baseboards and pictures clean, dust free and organized and maintain guest floor hallways and report maintenance issues and special cleaning assignments (i.e. carpet cleaning, door scuffs or repainting areas). Workers will deliver guest amenities or special requests to guest rooms (i.e. rollaway beds, baby cribs, refrigerators, and toothbrushes/toothpaste), complete daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly projects as assigned by Housekeeping Managers/Supervisors, and clean stairwells, elevator landings (to include service landing) and hallways free from debris and room service trays. Workers will also maintain the housekeeping supply storeroom by organizing new supplies upon delivery and restocking the floors.

Special Requirements:

Three (3) months of related experience required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service skills. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with fellow associates and guests in person or via radio. Must be able to read and understand daily work assignments. Ability and willingness to bend, stretch, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Must be able to push/pull up to 250 pounds frequently and have the ability and willingness to work a varied schedule, which includes working on weekends and holidays.

The pay is $15.00 per hour with overtime available at $22.50 per hour, based on the hourly rate. **The work schedule is as follows:** 35 hours per week, with varying shifts of 7-8 hours**,** from 8:30 AM to 11:00 PM, from Saturday to Friday. The requested temporary workers will be based at 621 St Louis St, New Orleans, LA 70130.

Single workweek will be used in computing wages due. Pay period is bi-weekly.

All deductions required by the law will be made. Housing is available at a biweekly payroll deduction range of $330 to $370 with an initial damage deposit of $350 to $400. **The offered housing is optional for workers**. Transportation, including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging, to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed by a company check, separate from the payroll check, if the worker completes half of the employment period. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back to home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economically and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Reimbursement in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but not included passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). The employer will provide worker, at no charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job and on the job training in the proper use of tools and equipment. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period only to the extent that this guarantee is enforced by the Department of Labor. As of the date of this posting, the three-fourths guarantee is not enforced, but this is subject to change.
