The role you'll contribute:

This positions assumes an individual has some cook/baker experience. Individual maintains the responsibility for the cooking and/or baking of all hot foods including entrees, vegetables, starches and desserts for the department including patient tray line and cafeteria. This task should be done in such a manner to ensure the highest quality of product, efficient utilization of time and cost containment.

• Follows safety and sanitation rules and regulations
• Cooperates with staff of other departments in performing job duties
• Demonstrates knowledge of fire safety procedures
• Assures that all foods are cooked to the state of being done and holds foods in safe zones
• Cooks and bakes all hot foods for patient tray line and/or cafeteria server.
