THIS FIRST DESCRIPTION IS FOR OUR LINE COOK-

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and service, with experience in casual dining and catering environments. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dishes while maintaining the standards of our dietary department. Your expertise in food handling and knife skills will ensure that every meal is prepared with precision and care.

DUTIES-

-Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
-Ensure all food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and hygiene.
-Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal service efficiently.
-Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating.
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
-Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
-Support the dietary aide team by preparing specialized meals for guests with dietary restrictions.
-Participate in catering events as required, ensuring high-quality food presentation.

EXPERIENCE-

-Proven experience in food preparation or line cooking within the food industry.
-Familiarity with ma and pop buisness and casual dining standards and catering operations is preferred.
-Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
-Excellent knife skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
-Previous experience in a dietary department is a plus but not required.
-Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work as a team with great communication skills and able to stay calm under pressure

HOURS-Part time

PAY RANGE- $21.67-23.76

As a key member of our restaurant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, excellent time management skills, and a passion for providing outstanding service.

DUTIES-

- Greet guests and take orders in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage tables, take reservations, and coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure prompt delivery of orders.
- Utilize our Square POS system to efficiently manage orders, inventory, and table assignments.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, adhering to high standards of food handling and sanitation.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of menu items, ingredients, and allergens to accommodate special requests and dietary needs.
- Work effectively as part of a team, supporting the kitchen and other servers to ensure seamless service.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the restaurant's offerings and promotions to make informed recommendations to guests.
- Manage cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Perform other related duties as required, including maintaining a clean and organized server station and contributing to a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a restaurant or food industry environment, preferably in a server or related role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and managing time effectively.
- Basic math skills to accurately handle cash and credit transactions.
- Familiarity with food handling and sanitation practices.
