Custodian

Direct Hire - Naugatuck, CT**

**Responsibilities:**

- Clean and sanitize production trays, racks, bins, and accessories

- Maintain cleanliness of walk-off mats and dispose of trash in production and warehouse areas

- Keep cleaning logs up to date and ensure all cleaning agents are properly labeled

- Assist in manufacturing by preparing trays, cartons, and packaging products

- Operate metal detection equipment and apply labels as needed

- Support facility cleaning and sanitation efforts as a backup to the Quality Plant Hygienist

- Perform other duties as assigned

**Requirements:**

- High school diploma required

- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

- Previous cleaning experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods

- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team
