JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description JOB TITLE: Food Service Worker I

(12-month) FLSA STATUS: Hourly/Non-Exempt JOB LOCATION: Charter School /

Early Education and Care Center PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for

preparing and serving food and providing assistance with general duties

in the Meal Program. PRIMARY DUTIES: Legend: E = Essential / NE = Non

Essential / N/A = Not Applicable 1. Assist with food preparation. E 2.

Monitor food and beverage items for quality and freshness. E 3. Set-up

the food carts. E 4. Complete daily safety inspection of delivery

vehicle. E 5. Stock, arrange, and prepare food and beverages. E 6.

Set-up, serve, and clean-up for all meals. E 7. Maintain clean,

sanitary, and orderly kitchen and cafeteria areas. E 8. Ensure clean,

working, and sanitary equipment and utensils. E 9. Attend meetings and

professional development activities, as requested. E 10. Establish and

maintain good communication, collaboration and cooperation with all

stakeholders (i.e., parents, teachers, School Administration, MPS

representatives, etc.). E 11. Follow all duties of a mandated reporter.

E 12. Perform other related duties, as assigned. E 13. Be a team player.

E Requirements PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical requirements described

successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable

stand, sit, reach, stoop, bend, and walk. Frequent lifting may be

encountered. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and

successfully pass TB, drug testing, and physical. WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is performed in school/day care kitchen and cafeteria

areas/environment. Some local travel may be required. REPORTS TO: Food

Service Manager MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: 1. High School Diploma

(HSD) or GED equivalent 2. Willingness to learn food service business 3.

Willing to be trained 4. Good communication and writing skills 5. Valid

Wisconsin driver\'s license, car, and state minimum insurance required

and must meet La Causa driving standards 6. Must be able to successfully

pass criminal history background checks. 7. Must be able to work
