Janitorial / Custodian Technician Location: Belle Glade, FL Schedule: Full-Time | Various Shifts Available Pay Rate: $17.20/hour About A & Associates, Inc. Position Overview: A & Associates is actively seeking a reliable and hardworking Janitorial/Custodian Technician to support our facilities maintenance team. This role requires hands-on experience in commercial cleaning and floor care, including buffing and waxing . The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, maintain a clean and safe environment, and be able to operate independently with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and deep cleaning of facilities, including restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment Buff and wax floors to company and client standards Maintain cleaning equipment and report repairs or replacements as needed Collect and dispose of trash and recycling in compliance with safety regulations Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and toiletries Follow all safety protocols and company policies Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of janitorial or custodial experience required Demonstrated experience in buffing and waxing floors Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs , bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods of time Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent work ethic, dependability, and communication skills Ability to pass a background check and drug screening, if required High school diploma or equivalent preferred Benefits: Weekly pay via direct deposit Long-term opportunities and career growth Consistent, reliable schedule Supportive work environment Equal Opportunity Disclaimer: A & Associates, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to excellence through diversity.
