un Event Cooks and Servers - Kirkwood August 7th-10th compensation: Minimum $30 per hour A small catering company travelling from out of town is tasked with creating food and beverage experiences during a wedding weekend from August 7th through August 10th. The location is approximately 20 miles southwest of Kirkwood, CA. The activations range from casual breakfast and lunch for 50 guests and one lunch for 140 guests. We are looking to hire a handful of skilled employees to assist with the execution of this event. Not all activations will be required per person and an exact schedule will be provided the week prior. Culinary responsibilities range from food preparation, cooking, dishwashing, set-up, breakdown and rental organization. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs and remain on your feet for at least 10 hours. Shift start times for breakfast may be as early as 5:30am on site. Service responsibilities range from set-up, breakdown, attending beverage stations (no bartending), refilling buffet foods, rental organization. Must be fluent in customer service and willing to assist with all F&B related aspects of the event. All positions receive a minimum of $30 per hour with meals included, 30 minute break per 5 hours worked, overtime paid at 1.5x past 8 hours and double time paid at 2x past 12 hours in a single day. Must have your own transportation. Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of general F&B experience and are willing to provide a resume and background check.
