Summerville Elementary is searching for a Cafeteria Assistant/Dishwasher to join our Food Service Team. You'll play a vital role in serving nutritious meals and creating a positive lunch experience for our students.

Responsibilities:

*Wash Dishes

*Clean and Prepare Cooking Equipment and Areas for Service

*Assist in preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, and snacks when needed.

*Maintain a clean and sanitary environment.

*Interact positively with students and staff.

Requirements / Qualifications

Food Service Certification (Serve Safe)

High school diploma or GED.

Valid First Aid and CPR

School cafeteria experience or equivalent kitchen experience preferred.

Must submit fingerprints, pass clearance, and complete essential work function analysis.

Comments and Other Information

Ability to: Must be able to communicate effectively (written and orally); Must work staggered hours during the workweek to provide expected supervision of custodians; Must be available during emergencies after normal work hours; Must possess and utilize excellent team-building skills; Must accept delegated responsibilities willingly; Must be able to lift seventy-five pounds; Must adapt the personal daily schedule to accommodate abnormal work hours.
