At Kura Sushi USA, our Opening Team Members are responsible for leading, instructing, coaching and managing all new store members and trainees in ensuring exceptional guest experience and support the current company expansion plans.
Our Opening Team Members travel and stay from weeks to months at new or existing stores to assist with training and store operations.

Expectations:

• BOH Skilled, Knife Skills, Sushi knowledge, Line Prep
• Educate and train hands-on work on an on-goingbasis to employees, respond to customer service needs, or otherwiserole model appropriate behaviors in the store
• Monitors, coaches, models, and can complete allproduct, prepping, line set-up, or cleaning assignment accurately, neatly, and withinassigned time
• Models, coaches, and maintains proper foodhandling, safety, and cleaning and sanitation standards while preparing food.
• Consistently models and demonstrates how toclean food-prepping equipment thoroughly
• Manages progressions of new employees skills after multipletraining.
• Maintains a positivework environment for all team members/trainees at all times
• Ability to developpositive and professional working relationships with all team membersand work as a team by helping as needed or requested
• Effectively use training techniques ofrepetition, modeling, and reflection to bettermeet the learning needs of team members/trainees
• Adheres and follows trainingmaterials to maintainvalidity of material being taught
• Actively collaborates with training team to evaluatetraining techniques and materialsto meet more diverse needs of the team members/trainees
• Committed to engaging in ongoing traininginitiatives to improve leadership and training skillsto better the brand
• Provides a high level of attention to guestsatisfaction and maintainpositive relationships with co-workers and customers
• Actively displays knowledgeof all food menu items and current promotions
• Ability to maintaina professional appearance at all times
• Trainers must be willing to work any hours ofoperation, willing to work long hours during holidayand new store opening
• Extensive travelfor both short and long periodof time should be expected
• Complies with Company policy against Harassment,Discrimination and Retaliation in the Workplace.

Travel 90+% of the time

Schedule:

• Full-time Exempt position
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Pay Transparency: This position offers a pay range of ($68,640 - $75,000) per year + STIC (bonus) + LTIC depending on experience and qualifications. Compensation offered is also subject to local wage and hour laws. At Kura Sushi, we are committed to pay transparency and ensuring competitive compensation for all roles.
