Position Overview Were seeking a PartTime Sushi Cook to lead our sushi prep and service. Youll be responsible for preparing sashimi and rolls, and general sushi station duties while maintaining plating standards and food safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare sushi components: sashimi, maki

• Maintain sushi station cleanliness & organization

• Ensure ingredient quality, safety, and precise presentation

• Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff for seamless service

• Track and manage sushi inventory

Requirements

• Previous experience as a sushi cook or sushi station prep in a restaurant

• Expert knife skills and precision

• Excellent attention to detail and cleanliness

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take direction

• Passion for Japanese cuisine and community-driven hospitality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Japanese or izakaya-style menus

• Strong communication skills and a team mindset

• Willingness to contribute creatively to sushi specials
