Job DetailsTSA Role Description:
The TSA position is absolutely crucial to the overall success of table service in a club setting.
They are the eyes and ears of the clienteles individual requested AND unforeseen needs and
the backbone to the operation. Pace is necessary within this position, but most importantly, grace
within every action taken. There is such heavy emphasis on grace as it is the sleuthing movement
between their guests, around their tables, and the handling of product and instruments that
allows such fluid and ninja-like presence when handling missions at the table. In addition, communication is what drives this position most. Not only communication with your tables, but
with your entire team (Servers, Barbacks, Bartenders, and Managers). Make sure to
introduce yourself to the table, and equate yourself with the buyers.
Goals:
- Ensure guests continuously have fresh glassware
- Ensure guests continuously have fresh mixers
- Ensure guests continuously have fresh straws, napkins, and garnishes
- Ensure that the table is tidy, looking fresh, and well maintained
- Removing all empty glassware around clients table, and bar
- Removing any trash found around clients table, and bar
- Wiping away any condensation, spills, and noticeable smudges, floor and space otherwise
- Periodically check the bathrooms to see if they need maintenance
Side Quests:
Although table service is the TSAs main priority throughout the evening, a huge aspect of the
position is also the recuperation of glassware to the bar and the cleanliness of the entire space
as a whole. While running missions for tables, its pertinent to also have eyes in every corner of
the space to ensure that soiled glassware is making its way back to the bar to be sent back out to
tables and guests of the bar. To reiterate, this all revolves around heavy communication.
Communication between all other sta in the building allows you to eciently assist in areas that
may need a second set of hands at any given moment. Without communication, the team misses
out on a very direct line of what is taking place at both the tables and on the floor.
Opening Duties:
- Check-in with managers about booked tables and projected flow of the evening
- Assure all furniture (chairs, lights, etc) are in the right place for the evening.
- Set up pre-booked tables with glasses, napkins, and straws.
- Stock the mixers in the bottle service fridge according to projected flow of the evening
Closing Duties:
- Ensure all glassware makes its way back to the bar
- Ensure the front of the building is swept
- Ensure bathrooms are restocked and trash is taken out
- Ensure the server station is restocked and organized
- Ensure that every other position does not need any more assistance
- Check out with the manager, and then go home.
