Job Details Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and reliable Line Cook with experience or strong interest in French Cuisine. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, clean, and efficient, with a passion for food and teamwork. You will be responsible for preparing and executing menu items according to the chef's specifications while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Responsibilities:Prepare and cook dishes from the line, including starter, entree, dessert.
Ensure the station is properly set up and stocked before, during, and after service.
Follow all recipes and portion standards accurately.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with health and safety standards.
Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality and presentation.
Assist with prep tasks as needed.
Communicate clearly with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service.
Follow all food safety procedures and company protocols.
Support the head chef and sous chef in daily kitchen operations.
Minimum 12 years of experience as a line cook (experience in French or European cuisine is a plus).
Knowledge of basic kitchen techniques and knife skills.
Strong sense of urgency and ability to multitask.
Team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Food Handler Certification (California required).
Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $23.00) plus tips
