Now Hiring: Night Auditor / Shuttle Driver
Location: Cambria Hotel Omaha Downtown
Night Audit Duties (2 Shifts/Week):
Perform all nightly audit procedures, balancing the day’s transactions and generating reports per OHM and hotel standards.
Prepare and distribute daily reports for hotel leadership and departments.
Reset the day’s business and prepare the front desk for the morning shift.
Manage wake-up calls, guest requests, and emergency procedures.
Serve as Manager on Duty during overnight hours, ensuring guest satisfaction and security.
Greet all guests in a warm and professional manner.
Handle and balance cash drawers, verify deposits, and resolve discrepancies.
Participate in front desk meetings and training programs.
Shuttle Driver / Bellperson Duties (2 Shifts/Week):
Escort arriving guests to rooms and assist with luggage.
Provide transportation for guests in the hotel shuttle within designated areas.
Maintain cleanliness and fueling of the hotel courtesy van.
Explain room features and promote hotel amenities and services.
Deliver messages, packages, and room service orders as needed.
Assist with snow/ice removal and maintenance of the front drive (port cochere).
Keep lobby and entrance areas clean and welcoming.
Support other departments and perform errands or tasks as directed.
Raise, lower, and maintain proper handling of U.S., state, and brand flags.
Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills.
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work independently overnight.
Comfortable using property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office.
Professional appearance and demeanor, with a hospitality-focused mindset.
Ability to remain calm and solve problems under pressure.
High School diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
Valid Driver’s License required with a clean driving record.
This position works four shifts per week:
2 overnight night audit shifts
2 shuttle driver shifts
Must be available for weekends and holidays as needed.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently.
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and driving.
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
Primarily indoor work environment with regular exposure to outdoor conditions while driving and maintaining hotel entrances.
