Job Summary
As a Maitre' D, you will play an important leadership role, developing strong connections with our new and returning guests. You will help set the pace of service and provide a warm, friendly, and immediate greeting to guests at the door, as well as those calling the restaurant. If you are a proactive team player with a strong work ethic, are detail-oriented, and have a passion for hospitality, we want to hear from you!
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Greeting guests as they enter, and putting them on a waiting list as necessary
Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions
Seating guests at tables and assigning them to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind to ensure seamless service
Engaging with guests to ensure they're happy with food and service
Responding toplaints and helping to resolve them
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
Active TABC and ServSafe certification required
OpenTable experience preferred
Excellent customer service and people skills required
Strong verbal and writtenmunication skills required
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
Maintain a positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff
