Job Details Penny is a 31-seat walk-in seafood spot. The raw bar and seafood counter is located directly above owners Chase Sinzer and Joshua Pinskys Claud in New York Citys East Village. - Is excited to educate all staff members on wine and other beverages, and guide them towards our standards wine service.
- Is dependably organised, a lover of spreadsheets, and an emphatic over-communicator in and out of service.
- Possesses strong and confident wine knowledge with emphasis on France, as well as a working understanding of viticulture, farming practices, & winemaking conventions (enthusiasm for sake is a plus).
Is deeply curious to taste wine of all styles from throughout the world, and is eager to regularly conduct tastings with the beverage teams of Claud & Penny.
Can reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 lbs (and loves breaking down cardboard boxes).

Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $20.00) plus tips
