Job Summary:
We are seeking a Prep Cook who is meticulous, dependable, and highly detail-oriented. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision and finds satisfaction in consistent, focused work. You will be responsible for executing prep recipes and production tasks exactly to spec, using a metric (gram-based) recipe format. Accuracy, cleanliness, and the ability to follow instructions to the letter are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Execute prep recipes and batch production with a strict adherence to standardized recipes and portioning
- Follow gram-based recipe formats with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and quality control
- Maintain a clean and organized work station throughout the shift
- Label, date, and store all items properly according to food safety standards
- Communicate any issues with yield, product quality, or equipment to kitchen leadership promptly
- Support the AM Sous Chef and other team members in maintaining an orderly and productive prep environment
- Receive and process deliveries as needed
- Maintain a strong focus on product organization, consolidation, and rotation
Qualifications:
- Previous prep or kitchen experience preferred, but not required if you demonstrate strong attention to detail and reliability
- Comfortable using digital scales and working with gram-based recipes
- Strong organizational habits and a methodical approach to tasks
- Ability to take direction, follow instructions closely, and repeat tasks with a high degree of consistency
- A calm, focused presence and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order
- Interest in learning and growing within a disciplined, technique-forward kitchen

Compensation: Hourly ($17.00 - $20.00)
